Teaching mindfulness can be one of the most valuable gifts a parent can give. Between school, screen time, life post pandemic, and navigating all the emotions that accompany growing up, being a kid isn’t always easy.

Steph, Kids Mindfulness Coach, will work with your child to build a self-care toolkit that your child will have with them for life.

How does Mindfulness Coaching with Steph work?

📋 Initial Chit Chat: When you reach out, I will schedule a brief phone call or video call (whichever you prefer) to discuss your child (likes, dislikes, personality, motivations etc), and the emotional challenges (if any) your child is experiencing. We can co-create some goals together!

👩‍👧 Coaching Sessions: These session are 45 minutes in length, and can take place in person (Fuel Your Soul Studio in Holland Landing, ON) or virtually. In our first session, Steph will get to know your child as they decorate their selfceare toolkit together. Your child will also be given a “Breathing Buddy” (stuffed animal) and be introduced to Breathwork.

Each following session is individually run based on your child’s need. Topics often include:

  • Breathwork meditation

  • Talking to our feelings (accepting them, and asking them what they need)

  • Doing a body scan

  • The power of self talk and affirmations

  • Gratitude journaling

  • Shifting anxiety

  • Making good choices when we feel angry

  • Calming and focusing your body

  • Giving ourselves the self love we are so deserving of!

Steph is a certified teacher with 10+ years of teaching experience. She’s also a mindset coach and certified Breathwork Facilitator.
